The core responsibility of this role is to undertake research to better understand a brand’s audience and how that audience interacts with a system. UX researchers need excellent analytical and communication skills to interpret data and work with users to gather that data. Experience with various research methods and tools is essential. Employers also prefer candidates with a thorough understanding of the business, which can help to inform their research studies and recommendations. Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills are also vital for this role.
