Communications/Public Relations Manager Job Description

Public relations managers implement and oversee strategies to enhance an organization’s public image. They establish relationships with members of the media, generate positive publicity by pitching stories to media outlets and manage social media efforts. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. A journalism or agency background may be preferred.
