Senior HRIS Analyst Job Description

Specializes in overseeing the organization’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This includes responsibility for database management, system upgrades and analytical reporting. Works closely with the human resources and IT departments to ensure the HRIS is up-to-date, accurate and effectively meets the organization's needs. Should be proficient in SQL and other database management languages and familiarity with various HRIS platforms. Excellent project management and communication skills are crucial for liaising between departments and presenting findings to senior leadership. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, information technology or a related field is typically required, along with several years of experience in HRIS roles. Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations regarding data storage and employee information is also essential.
