Key Responsibilities as an HR Manager
- Consult leadership on HR-related strategies, compliance with labour law, and maintaining strong employee relations to align HR goals with business objectives.
- Provide tailored HR support for a diverse workforce, with balanced strategies to address the distinct needs of blue-collar workers (e.g., operational staff) and white-collar employees (e.g., corporate professionals).
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing job openings, screening candidates, and ensuring seamless onboarding for new hires, building strong foundations for success.
- Effectively oversee all aspects of payroll, including tax declarations, social security obligations, and compliance with internal and external regulations
- Manage reward systems and benefits like fleet management, health insurance, and group insurance, promoting retention and employee satisfaction.
- Stay updated on Benelux labour law changes, ensuring all policies remain compliant and legally sound.
- Foster a constructive dialogue with union representatives and staff delegations, building strong relationships to establish trust and transparency.
- Spearhead HR initiatives such as process improvements, analytics reporting, and streamlining onboarding/offboarding flows to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Propose and implement new policies to address evolving business needs.
- Develop and oversee training programs to boost employee skills, nurture talent, and promote career growth in alignment with performance management goals.
- Help shape and build an inspiring company culture that motivates employees and adapts as the organization evolves.
- Actively contribute to business expansion projects, such as entering new markets and scaling operations within the region, ensuring HR operations align with strategic objectives.
Your profile for the company in Diegem
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of HR experience in a generalist role, managing a balance of soft and hard HR responsibilities.
- Expert knowledge of labour and social law specific to the Benelux region.
- Full proficiency in Dutch, French, and English (tri-lingual proficiency is a must).
- Solid understanding of Blue- and White-Collar HR dynamics, with the ability to address the unique needs of each workforce segment.
- Proven ability to manage payroll processes
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to deliver on priorities in a fast-paced environment.
