Lease Manager Job Description

Lease managers are generally found in large real estate practices or commercial property management companies. Typical duties include supervising all aspects associated with documentation and operational support of lease and loan transactions, document analysis, preparation of documents, managing leasing systems, and supervising team members. Preferred candidates possess previous management experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate law department, and have experience managing personnel, benefits, payroll, vendor relationships and financials. Postsecondary education and experience in retail leasing or retail or commercial property development are also preferred. Excellent computer and organizational skills are required.
