Device Set-Up

Tip: Your Robert Half loaner device is for work purposes only. Refrain from accessing any social media, streaming, gaming, or gambling websites.
In preparation for your job, you have received your Robert Half-provided Windows 10 laptop with Microsoft’s online version of the Microsoft Office 365 suite. Now it’s time to get to work. Here are some best practices for using the laptop.
When first prompted to log in on your new device, create a password of at least 16 characters that includes at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character (#, ! , $ , @, etc.). Follow the prompts to set up multifactor authentication (MFA). There are two option to MFA you can choose: Have a smartphone? Download the Microsoft Authenticator app and learn how to configure it here Additional options include SMS text, phone call or personal email address. 
Robert Half continuously deletes items from the downloads folder and limits file sharing to external networks.  If downloads need to be retained, work with the client’s IT support to provide a cloud-based storage and/or file sharing site (i.e., Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive). Robert Half provides OneDrive storage that can be utilized to temporarily save documents.
Your Robert Half loaner device is for work purposes only. You typically will not have access to the device once the job has ended. At that time, the device is due back to Robert Half unless otherwise directed.  Please return the device during normal working hours and include the time it takes in your time report.   While using the device, do not: Access any social media, streaming, gaming or gambling sites Save any personal information or documents on the device or the Robert Half-provided OneDrive account Save any client data on the device or the Robert Half-provided OneDrive account  Send any documentation to your personal email address If a website you are trying to access for work purposes is blocked by Robert Half and you require access, please contact your talent solutions professional with the website information and the business justification.
