About the Role:
Protiviti is seeking an experienced Freelance FP&A Analyst to support one of our leading clients in the e-commerce sector. This role focuses on providing financial planning and analysis expertise within the Product & Technology (P&T) function. The position is fully remote with a preference for candidates based in or near Barcelona or Amsterdam, and offers a contract duration of 12 to 24 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to the client's P&T leadership team, offering insight and guidance on financial planning and performance
- Manage end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes for Product and Technology cost centers
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to drive operational efficiency
- Build and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to track spend, ROI, and key KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Procurement, and Operations

Your Profile as an FP&A Analyst:
- Strong FP&A experience, ideally supporting Product and/or Technology functions in a fast-paced environment
- Prior work with or within e-commerce or digital-first businesses is a strong advantage
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with tools such as SAP, Onestream, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a remote environment, with a proactive and consultative approach
- Able to work within CET business hours; preference for candidates located in Barcelona or Amsterdam
