About the Role:
Protiviti is seeking an experienced Freelance FP&A Analyst to support one of our leading clients in the e-commerce sector. This role focuses on providing financial planning and analysis expertise within the Product & Technology (P&T) function. The position is fully remote with a preference for candidates based in or near Barcelona or Amsterdam, and offers a contract duration of 12 to 24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic finance partner to the client's P&T leadership team, offering insight and guidance on financial planning and performance
Manage end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes for Product and Technology cost centers
Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to drive operational efficiency
Build and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to track spend, ROI, and key KPIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Procurement, and Operations
Present monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews to client stakeholders and senior leadership
Support strategic initiatives, business cases, and transformation projects as they relate to finance

Your Profile as an FP&A Analyst:

Strong FP&A experience, ideally supporting Product and/or Technology functions in a fast-paced environment
Prior work with or within e-commerce or digital-first businesses is a strong advantage
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with tools such as SAP, Onestream, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
Comfortable operating autonomously in a remote environment, with a proactive and consultative approach
Able to work within CET business hours; preference for candidates located in Barcelona or Amsterdam
