    We are in the process of recruiting a Business Analyst who will be instrumental in our clients ongoing application business implementation. This role is within the manufacturing industry and will be based in Edmonton, Alberta. This contract has an initial term of 3-months and will start on a part-time basis (10 hours per week), with a strong likelihood of increasing in hours. Preference will be given to candidates local to the Edmonton market, however this opportunity where the successful candidate will be involved in various system implementation projects, documentation, and workflow organization is open to remote candidates.


    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the implementation of new systems such as HCM, MMS, ERP, TMS, and QMS through effective requirement gathering sessions and documentation

    • Work closely with SMEs to map out existing processes and strategize new ones

    • Ensure accurate documentation of processes and workflows using tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Visio

    • Participate in user acceptance testing and provide necessary assistance

    • Collaborate with external partners for system management and improvement

    • Aid in the organization of the SharePoint site and other documentation platforms

    • Ability to conduct Gap Analysis to identify and propose solutions for business process improvements

    • Ability to create Workflow Diagrams to represent business processes visually

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data processing and documentation

    • Familiarity with AB Testing methodologies to compare two versions of a webpage or other user experience

    • Understanding of Business Process Functions to effectively analyze and improve business processes

    • Experience in preparing Business Requirement Document to capture project and system requirements

    • Familiarity with Workflow Processes and their integration in business operations

    • Strong skills in Documentation for clear communication of findings, procedures, and processes
