This role involves collaborating across all departments to provide consultative support and develop effective narratives that offer actionable recommendations aligned with business objectives.</p><p><strong>Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide overall technical leadership for the Analytics team.</li><li>Set the technical direction and roadmap for Reporting and Business Analytics.</li><li>Create compelling narratives for senior leadership.</li><li>Support departments in monitoring key performance indicators and strategies for improving informatics management, quality, and service delivery.</li><li>Ensure databases and dashboard applications are updated and maintained.</li><li>Develop reports for head office, regional offices, and site-based groups.</li><li>Translate business objectives into data solutions that support business needs.</li><li>Identify and resolve complex technical and data problems.</li><li>Ensure the BI Analytics team adheres to data standards, governance policies, and privacy and security practices.</li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert on multiple projects from requirements gathering to implementation.</li><li>Understand the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values and align your roadmap and solutions with the strategic plan.</li><li>Turn data analyses into appealing and understandable presentations and scorecards.</li><li>Develop both static and interactive data presentations using storytelling techniques.</li><li>Design internal storytelling presentation materials for all levels of the organization.</li><li>Visualize and articulate complex information into understandable formats such as pitch decks, quarterly updates, one-pagers, and infographics.</li><li>Lead creative discussions and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.</li><li>Coach, teach, mentor, and develop colleagues in all aspects of the analytic lifecycle.</li><li>Lead efforts related to data engineering, data warehousing, data modeling, BI and analytics, reporting, legacy system support, data cataloging, cleansing, enrichment, extraction (ETL, ELT), governance, hygiene, data lakes, data marts, masking, and test data.</li></ul><p><br></p>
