Job Description:

The treasurer role requires excellent communication, technology, problem-solving and analytical abilities. Candidates for treasurer usually need at least 10 years of professional experience, and public accounting experience is a plus. Typical Duties of a Treasurer:

Researching and analyzing financing alternatives and providing recommendations

Structuring debt arrangements

Ensuring debt covenant compliance

Directing investments of corporate cash

Monitoring operating cash requirements

Communicating the company’s operating and financial performance goals and strategies to external investors and creditors
