Managers of financial reporting in Canada are responsible for driving the financial reporting function in a company and must have excellent analytical and communication skills. Candidates with a minimum of five years of experience in financial reporting roles are well positioned for the role and those who have worked as financial analysts are preferred. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, as is experience with major ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and knowledge of internal controls requirements.
