We are looking for a BI Data Analyst II to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in Garden City, New York. As a BI Data Analyst II, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing business intelligence tools, managing SQL and databases, automating data processing, and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
• Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify business trends and patterns
• Utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI and SSRS to design and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations
• Developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance data accessibility and efficiency
• Using Python and VBA for automating data processing, reporting, and analytical tasks
• Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and system performance bottlenecks
• Developing and maintaining documentation of data models, workflows, and reporting processes
• Collaborating with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights.
• Applicant must possess at least 3 years of experience in a relevant field
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) is a crucial requirement for this role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL is expected
• Experience with SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services is necessary
• Ability to code in Python is highly desirable
• Proficient use of Microsoft Power BI is required
• Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a plus.
