AWS Platform Integration Engineer Responsibilities: • Provide support for the FAST annuity platform, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues that arise. • Manage and maintain the Document Management System (custom application), ensuring data integrity and accessibility on AWS Cloud. • Handle system interfaces and integration tasks, ensuring seamless communication between different systems. • Perform Level One problem resolution, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly. • Collaborate with the development team to manage cloud development and release management processes. • Utilize Azure and AWS cloud platforms to develop, deploy, and maintain applications. • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices to continuously improve our systems and processes. Requirements: • Degree in MIS or Computer Science • 3 to 5 years of experience in IT, development and support or a related field. • Proficiency in AWS cloud development. • Strong AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, RDS, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, AWS File Transfer, OpenSearch, EC2 • Strong troubleshooting skills using and inspecting logs using Cloudwatch. • Strong knowledge of IAM and Security Best Practices. • Experience with DevOps and release management on AWS Cloud • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site work as needed. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the life and annuity industry. • Familiarity with the Verisk FAST annuity platform will be strong addition. • Knowledge of document management systems and backend system integrations.
