About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role is essential in ensuring seamless sales operations by providing administrative support to the sales team, managing customer accounts, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the food manufacturing industry, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team by processing customer orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain and update customer accounts, pricing, and product information in the CRM system.
- Assist in coordinating sales promotions, sample requests, and marketing materials for clients.
- Generate sales reports and analyze data to support sales strategies and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure order fulfillment and delivery schedules are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock issues that may impact sales.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
- Assist in preparing presentations and proposals for potential clients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with order processing and ERP systems is a plus.
