We are inviting applications for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team based in Irvine, California. The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities within the accounting functions, including but not limited to overseeing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations. Your role will also involve preparing and reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
• In charge of the general accounting functions, with specific focus on managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Accurate preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Assist in both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and detailed explanations.
• Ensure tax compliance by preparing and reviewing tax filings, including payroll taxes, sales taxes, and corporate tax returns.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Actively collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
• Utilize various accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks, providing recommendations to management.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Familiarity with BlackLine is a must.
• Proficiency in using Concur is necessary.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory.
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Auditing skills are a must.
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is required.
