Robert Half Management Resources is currently in search of an experienced HR Manager who is a strong Change Management Leader to support our client in Salt Lake City. This isn't your typical HR role; we need a change agent who can lead and guide our company and people through a pivotal time of transition. This is a 6+ month contract role.
Responsibilities:
• Understand the organization's corporate goals and formulate change strategies.
• Develop, administer, and monitor HR plans and procedures for all company personnel.
• State, organize, and control all activities of the HR department, contributing to the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and implement change management strategies, action plans, and communications.
• Lead and coordinate change initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Work directly with management and employees to address queries, interpret and administer contracts, and help resolve work-related issues.
• Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, promotional opportunities, and employment benefits.
• Use communication strategies to ensure the team understands the vision, goals, and expectations related to the culture change related to the company merger.
• Handle difficult staffing decisions, which may include undertaking disputes, terminating employees, and executing disciplinary procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to track the progress of change and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager and Change Management Expert.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influence skills.
• Demonstrable experience in managing crowd transitions during mergers or extensive company changes.
• Strong cultural sensitivity, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and remain resilient in the face of setbacks.
• Exceptional emotional intelligence and strategic thinking abilities.
• Keen eye for recognizing potential challenges and addressing them proactively.
