    We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Project Manager to lead the implementation of enterprise-level IT projects. This role will report directly to leadership and oversee strategic initiatives such as implementing a cost accounting system, optimizing our ERP, and deploying enterprise-wide credentialing and privileging software. Candidates with experience implementing these systems or direct experience working with Epic will be strongly preferred.

    Position Overview

    The Information Systems Project Manager is responsible for overseeing complex IT projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions that support business objectives. This position requires strong project management expertise, technical knowledge, and leadership skills to drive initiatives from planning through execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the project manager for enterprise-wide IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead cross-functional teams, including IT staff, vendors, and business stakeholders, to execute project plans efficiently.
    • Oversee the implementation of cost accounting systems, ERP optimizations, and credentialing/privileging software, ensuring successful integration and adoption.
    • Candidates with Epic experience will be preferred, particularly those who have worked directly for Epic or managed Epic system implementations.
    • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and reporting structures.
    • Coordinate system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and training to ensure seamless integration and user adoption.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices in system security, data integrity, and IT governance.
    • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to define system requirements and drive process improvements.
    • Oversee system troubleshooting, issue resolution, and post-implementation support.
    • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and clear communication of project objectives, scope, and expected outcomes.
    • Utilize project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Supervise feasibility studies, system evaluations, vendor negotiations, and contracting processes as needed.


    Required Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: 4+ years' experience managing complex IT projects, including at least three (3) years in a leadership or project management role for large application systems.
    • Substitution: Additional experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years of required education.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience leading projects focused on cost accounting systems, ERP optimization, and credentialing/privileging software.
    • Direct experience working for Epic or managing Epic system implementations.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
    • Experience working in a regulated environment, such as healthcare, finance, or government.

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Strong knowledge of IT project management principles, software development life cycle (SDLC), and system security best practices.
    • Experience with enterprise applications, ERP systems, credentialing software, and IT infrastructure projects.
    • Proficiency in modern project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Ability to analyze business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to engage stakeholders and drive project success.
    • Familiarity with data management, IT security, disaster recovery planning, and system integration best practices.
