About the Role:
We are seeking an energetic and personable individual to join our team as a Member Coordinator. The Member Coordinator serves as the face and first impression of Business Workspaces, ensuring that every guest and member feels valued from the moment they walk through the door. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to various personalities while navigating challenging customer service situations with tact and respect. If you are detail-oriented yet approachable and embrace variety in your workday, this role is for you.
In addition to front-desk responsibilities, this role has a strong social and technological component. The Member Coordinator is a connector, bringing business professionals together through organized social and networking events. They also act as a liaison between members and our IT team, requiring technical confidence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome all guests and members with a genuine and cheerful “hello,” ensuring a great first impression.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Manage mail and packages, including signing for deliveries and distributing items to the correct recipients.
- Assist with maintaining a strong social media presence and email marketing campaigns.
- Support in creating content such as newsletters and event flyers for the workspace.
- Facilitate member move-ins and operational steps for move-outs, ensuring a seamless process.
- Provide courteous technical troubleshooting to members, partnering with external IT teams as needed.
- Conduct sales tours of the facility during the General Manager's absence, promoting high occupancy.
- Maintain accurate member and operational records across multiple software platforms.
- Coordinate with local vendors and ensure office supplies are stocked and organized.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming shared workspace environment.
- Organize and execute events in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Foster member relationships by making connections through events and communication efforts.
What You Bring:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized and multitask effectively.
- Willingness to learn new software and confidence in using technology tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for professional and marketing purposes (a plus!).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and polished demeanor that reflects professionalism.
