    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Applications Architect in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role primarily involves developing and implementing architectural solutions within the organization, focusing on integrations, applications, data, and technology. The incumbent will work closely with the CIO and will not be responsible for infrastructure architecture.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement architectural solutions in collaboration with the CIO

    • Lead the architectural review board, comprising the Software Engineering team, IT manager, and the Director of product management

    • Transition the organization to Power Platform while supporting existing C# legacy applications

    • Collaborate with the software engineering team, without being involved in hands-on software development

    • Define processes as part of governance responsibilities, helping the organization evolve from its current level of maturity

    • Collaborate with third-party experts brought in for their specialized knowledge

    • Lead the technical team to transition from a reactive approach to a proactive approach in improving the technical environment

    • Participate in code reviews and pull requests

    • Participate in POC

    • Guide the transition from CRM to Microservices.

    Must have:

    • Solutions Architecture experience OR a senior SE who has extensive design experience and is ready to take on an architectural role.
    • Power Platform (Dynamics) OR [SAAS: C#, .net Core, microservices]
    • Azure
    • Leadership: in addition to architecting solutions the incumbent must bring the team with them. Will be responsible for leading the team in the adoption and execution of the proposed architectural solutions. Must exude confidence and be able to bring the team along with you in support of your proposed solutions.
    • Outgoing: must be willing to voice your opinion
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills: must ask questions and express opinions.
    • Software Development and design background

    Nice to have:

    • Experience identifying and implementing reuse opportunities.
