    Robert Half is offering a new position as a part-time, contract Facilities Assistant. Be the cornerstone of a thriving software development firm, located in the heart of Downtown Portland, Oregon. Please be aware that onsite parking is not available for this role. The schedule for this position will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until June 2025.


    As a Facilities Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:


    • Providing occasional front desk coverage whenever necessary
    • Liaising with the Office Manager daily, handling special requests and specific orders
    • Streamlining the organization of the stockroom; unpacking, sorting, and stocking items systematically
    • Aiding the Office Manager with weekly grocery procurement
    • Adjournment and arrangement of light furniture items per request
    • Ensuring the office kitchen remains tidy by managing the dishwasher and restocking consumables
    • Deftly handling diverse office chores as they arise
    • Standing by to undertake administrative duties and front desk management.


    • 2+ years of demonstrable experience in a customer service role
    • 1+ year of experience in an office support role
    • Proficiency in Google Suite
    • Exceptional phone decorum and superior communication skills
    • Ability to operate essential office machinery, accomplish general office duties, and manage incoming materials
    • Competency in multitasking efficiently and prioritizing workload
    • Ability to work independently to deliver expected results
