    Responsibilities:


    • Efficiently handle inbound calls, ensuring each caller's needs are assessed and addressed

    • Utilize multi-line switchboard systems to route calls accurately

    • Maintain a high level of proficiency in the use of telecommunications hardware, software, and PBX platform

    • Respond to and initiate action in response to emergency alarms and codes

    • Utilize effective communication tools and materials for clear understanding

    • Make necessary emergency announcements when required

    • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality rules and regulations

    • Provide exceptional customer service at all times

    • Maintain an understanding of how patient cultures can affect communication, collaboration, and the provision of care, treatment, and services

    • Contribute to the building and support of our new Contact Center aimed at enhancing patient experience and support

    • Proficiency in operating a multi-line switchboard, ensuring effective and efficient call routing.

    • Excellent customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a detail oriented and courteous manner.

    • Experience in handling inbound calls, with the ability to manage high-volume call flow effectively.

    • Knowledge of healthcare industry terminology and procedures, ideally within the NHS.

    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly under pressure.

    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in logging calls and taking messages.
