    We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Desktop Support Specialist to join a client's IT team in Phoenix. This role focuses on ensuring the functionality and efficiency of end-user systems, providing technical support, and maintaining IT-related hardware, software, and networking components. The ideal candidate is equipped with strong troubleshooting skills and excellent customer service abilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, Mac OS (if applicable), and Microsoft Office 365 issues.
    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, VPN access, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate with IT teams or vendors for equipment repairs or software updates as needed.
    • Ensure all IT equipment adheres to company policies and security protocols.
    • Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk).
    • Provide support for remote users, including setups, configurations, and troubleshooting.
    • Assist in workstation deployment, including imaging and patch management.
    • Educate employees on best practices related to technology use, security, and self-service IT tools.


    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 2+ years in a Desktop Support or similar role.
    • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite (Source: RH standard job descriptions).
    • Basic understanding of Active Directory user administration (password resets, group changes).
    • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
    • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred. Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop, etc.) are a plus.
    • Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
    • Availability: Ability to work in Phoenix onsite or hybrid based on company policies.
