    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This role involves a variety of legal tasks within the industry, including processing legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining organized records.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive legal research and ensure citation accuracy
    • Independently manage and organize work to meet deadlines
    • Utilize case management software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
    • Draft, revise, and review legal correspondence, pleadings, and documents
    • Familiarize with AZ state and local court rules, guidelines, and workflow processes
    • Respond to and object to disclosure and discovery responses
    • Use Microsoft Office Suite and other general computer programs proficiently
    • Manage calendar effectively for important deadlines and events
    • Handle Homeowners Association (HOA) related matters effectively
    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and organization throughout all tasks.
    • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal
    • Proficient in using Case Management Software
    • Strong skills in Calendar Management
    • Experience or familiarity with HOA (Homeowner Association) matters
    • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal studies or related field is preferred

This role is primarily focused on providing legal support within the Education law and commercial litigation fields. As a Legal Secretary, you will be instrumental in aiding three attorneys, managing litigation calendars, and performing court-related filings. <br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide comprehensive support for three Attorneys in a legal setting<br>• Manage the litigation calendar to ensure all deadlines are met<br>• Conduct filing with the courts as part of the legal process<br>• Handle client relations and provide top-notch customer service<br>• Perform briefing and billing functions to maintain seamless operations<br>• Ensure all docketing tasks are completed accurately and promptly<br>• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions<br>• Take necessary action based on monitoring of customer accounts<br>• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency<br>• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records. Attorney/Lawyer • There is a mix of cases – people will work with partners across the state and work on different sorts of matters. Civil litigation and construction.<br>• Initially, this attorney will be working more closely with a partner but the expectation is this associate will grow into doing more autonomous case management.<br>• Writing – this will take some mentorship and the firm gives it.<br>• <br>• A-Z case management of cases in PRACTICE AREA from inception through trial.<br>• Discovery, including depositions.<br>• Law and motion.<br>• Court appearances.<br>• Pleadings.<br>• Communicating and reporting up to with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.<br>• Attending site inspections.<br>• Billable Hour Req<br>o 1800 per year<br>• Great tenure with the firm/group of people – the firm administrator has been with these partners since 1999, the head of Northern CA has been with them for 11 years, another paralegal in Irvine has been with the firm for 25+ years.<br>• Office lunch once a week with everyone!<br>• The firm pays 100% of benefits for the employee and dependents.<br>• Open door policy for everyone – they are big on doing things to keep people happy and want to stay.<br> <br>Compensation:<br>• Salary range<br>o 125 to 170, will consider a little higher<br>• Bonuses<br>o Discretionary annual bonus – there isn’t a strict plan for this one.<br>o Monthly bonus for hitting billable hours.
