    Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager on an interim basis to support one of our industrial clients. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity with a mix of on-site and remote work. As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the day-to-day financial operations, manage the month-end close process, and supervise a small team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the entire month-end closing process, ensuring all reconciliations, supporting schedules, and analyses are completed according to schedule.

    • Take charge of team leadership, including supervising, mentoring, and developing the accounting team, assigning tasks, setting performance goals, and conducting evaluations.

    • Provide financial oversight, particularly over Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and Collections, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, coordinate external audits, and implement internal controls.

    • Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations.

    • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance accuracy in financial tasks.

    • Utilize various accounting software systems, including NetSuite, Bill.com, Concur, and ADP, for efficient and accurate financial reporting.

    • Handle accounting and billing functions, ensuring all records and transactions are accurate and up to date.

    • Perform auditing tasks to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulations.

    • Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for efficient management of financial resources.

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary
    • Familiarity with BlackLine software is desired
    • Proficiency in using Concur is a must
    • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is mandatory
    • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions effectively is required
    • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
    • Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is desired
    • Experience in Auditing is a must
    • Ability to perform Billing Functions effectively is mandatory
    • Experience with NetSuite is necessary
