As a Senior Accountant, your primary role will be to prepare and process accounting information to generate financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the integrity of accounting data by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.     Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing all accounting activities for affiliates and preparing and analyzing associated financial reports.

    • Assisting with audit preparation and facilitating the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns by collecting or preparing supporting schedules and documents as required.
    • Analyzing account activity, reconciling accounts, and making adjusting entries from approved budgets.

    The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.


    Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:

    • Minimum of 5 years of general ledger accounting experience

    • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus

    • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements

    • Knowledge of AS400 and Cognos systems is beneficial

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
