The primary role will involve managing the accuracy and integrity of our revenue recognition. This position presents an opportunity to work on a long term contract basis and contribute significantly to our dynamic Finance team.


    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately reconcile deferred revenue accounts with a focus on historical data

    • Identify and rectify any discrepancies related to revenue recognition

    • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 standards

    • Assist in the processes of month-end and quarter-end close

    • Support ad-hoc revenue analysis projects as required

    • Gradually take on additional responsibilities within the Revenue team

    • Utilize skills such as Balance Sheet Reconciliation, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Analyze Revenues, Deferred Revenue, and Workday

    • Maintain and uphold the integrity of the revenue recognition process.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance sectors.

    • 3-5 years of revenue experience

    • Proficiency in managing balance sheet reconciliation tasks.

    • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with general ledger operations.

    • Experience in preparing and posting journal entries is required.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

    • Ability to analyze revenues and interpret financial data accurately.

    • Experience with deferred revenue and related accounting tasks.

    • Knowledge and experience in using Workday financial management software.
