    We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our services team in Deerfield, Illinois. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting a dynamic team. This position is 100% in-office and pays $50,000-$55,000.


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the audit department, including managing schedules and coordinating communications.

    • Prepare and format financial statements, ensuring accuracy and clear presentation.

    • Assist with the preparation and processing of correspondence, such as engagement letters, proposals, and other documents.

    • Organize and assemble tax returns, including scanning and managing tax-related materials.

    • Support the recruitment process by coordinating activities, maintaining social media updates, and assisting with website content.

    • Assist the Office Manager with tasks such as billing, supply management, licensing, and filing.

    • Respond promptly to staff and client inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.

    • Contribute to the planning and execution of staff events and activities.

    • Provide general office assistance to address a variety of administrative needs as they arise.

    • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks to support team efficiency.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a detail-oriented services firm.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
    • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving and task management.
    • Post-secondary education in administration or a related field is preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a positive work ethic.
