    We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a General Office Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is primarily focused on creating and managing digital copies of medical documents in a secure and confidential manner. The industry we operate in requires a high degree of administrative efficiency and attention to detail.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately and securely scanning and uploading patient medical documents, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Carefully reviewing and checking the clarity and accuracy of scanned documents.
    • Effectively indexing and filing digital scans for easy access and retrieval.
    • Checking patient information for accuracy and ensuring it complies with medical record policies.
    • Assisting in the audit process by providing necessary documents promptly.
    • Ensuring documents are stored correctly in the patient record and categorized accurately.
    • Collaborating effectively with medical and administrative staff.
    • Adhering strictly to department standards for productivity and accuracy.
    • Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all federal, state, and institutional regulations concerning patient documentation.
    • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Epic Software for various administrative tasks.
    • Proven experience as a General Office Clerk or in a similar role
    • Proficiency in Administrative Assistance tasks, including organizing files, scanning, and data entry
    • Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with all office visitors and staff
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Demonstrated ability to use Epic Software for various administrative tasks
    • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • High school diploma or equivalent education level.
