    One of Robert Half Legal's nonprofit clients - a foundation - is seeking an attorney to join their team, reporting into the General Counsel.


    This corporate transactional attorney must have worked in-house at public or private foundations. Please do not apply without this experience. A background in litigation is strongly preferred.


    The attorney will provide legal counsel and support across a range of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on supporting the foundation's grantmaking and other philanthropic activities.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Advise on grantmaking programs, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and compliance.
    • Support investment activities, including reviewing investment agreements.
    • Advise on real estate transactions and corporate governance matters.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements and service contracts.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis.
    • Assist with compliance and risk management, specifically with outside counsel for occasional litigation matters.

    Pay is contingent upon experience above, as well as number of years working with a private or public foundation.
