  • <p>We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client&#39;s team in the Las Vegas area. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and construction accounting, along with a proactive approach to managing financial and operational processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs by project.</p><p>• Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with project forecasts.</p><p>• Process vendor bills, match them to purchase orders, and ensure proper job allocation of expenses.</p><p>• Prepare and submit progress billings, track retainage, and follow up on outstanding receivables.</p><p>• Manage payroll processes, including weekly/biweekly payroll and certified payroll.</p><p>• Track compliance documentation, lien waivers, prevailing wage requirements, and union reports as needed.</p><p>• Handle vendor relationships by maintaining databases, tracking W-9s, and ensuring timely 1099 reporting.</p><p>• Support audits, bonding applications, and contractor license renewals.</p><p>• Coordinate insurance certificates, subcontractor agreements, and safety documentation.</p><p>• Oversee office operations, including filing systems, employee onboarding paperwork, and benefits enrollment.</p>
