    We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Clinton, Tennessee for our client on-site. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy across our accounts payable and receivable processes.


    Responsibilities:

    • Efficiently process customer credit applications.

    • Maintain orderly records of all financial transactions.

    • Enter financial data meticulously into the QAD software system.

    • Ensure accuracy in customer credit records.

    • Resolve customer credit inquiries swiftly.

    • Perform regular account reconciliations to confirm accuracy.

    • Investigate and rectify any discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.

    • Support the Controller with the month-end closing process and prepare necessary documentation and reports as required.

    • Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

    • Prepare and print checks for vendor payments.

    • Post cash receipts to the appropriate accounts and apply payments to customer accounts

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Clerk
    • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
    • Strong experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Proven ability to handle Billing tasks efficiently
    • Must possess excellent Data Entry skills
    • Experience in Invoice Processing is a must
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
    • Experience in Check Runs is necessary
