We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our team. This role will be primarily focused on the development and enhancement of our hydraulic fracturing software product suite. The successful candidate will be based in Houston, Texas, and will have the opportunity to work closely with customers to ensure our software meets their needs and aligns with industry trends.
Responsibilities:
• Define clear user requirements and prioritize features to balance innovation, usability, and technical feasibility.
• Elevate our current product line through continuous improvement and innovation, optimizing it for market fit and customer satisfaction.
• Actively engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the final product reflects planned features and functions.
• Support the discovery and conceptualization of new software products and solutions tailored to the oil and gas industry.
• Communicate a clear and compelling product vision, securing buy-in at all organizational levels, and fostering customer adoption through comprehensive training and support.
• Remain relentlessly inquisitive, proactively learning new industry domains, and integrating fresh technologies into our offerings.
• Demonstrate analytical and creative skills to address complex challenges and drive product differentiation in the marketplace.
• Navigate customer interactions with finesse, distilling nuanced feedback into actionable product intelligence.
• Utilize your skills in Product Management and Agile Product Management to enhance our hydraulic fracturing software product suite.
• Identify tools and techniques that can add to efficiency in prototyping, create mockups, and capture user requirements.
• Demonstrable experience in Product Management is essential.
• Proficiency in Agile product management methodologies is required.
• Experience or knowledge in Hydraulic Fracturing is needed.
• A proven track record in managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Strong understanding of business and financial principles, capable of budgeting and financial planning for product lines.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Must possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be a plus.
