<p><strong>Job Title: </strong>Senior Microsoft Engineer (Contract) </p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Hartford, CT </p><p><strong>Work Location: </strong>Hybrid preferred, but open to Remote (Fully remote candidates must demonstrate exceptional technical depth and communication capability due to the collaborative nature of the role)</p><p><strong>Contract Duration: </strong>3-4+ months </p><p><strong>Start Date: </strong>Immediate </p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Microsoft Engineer</strong> with deep, hands-on expertise in <strong>Microsoft Intune</strong> and <strong>Microsoft Entra ID</strong> to support an environment hardening and standardization initiative. </p><p>This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in multi-tenant settings, enjoys building repeatable processes, and can balance both execution and documentation at an expert level.</p><p>You will assess current Microsoft 365 environments, establish hardening baselines, and create scalable standards and procedures that can be applied across multiple clients. </p><p>This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering position, not a strategy only role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong></p><p>Develop and implement security hardening standards and configuration baselines for Intune and Entra ID across multiple environments</p><p>Design repeatable, multi-tenant friendly configuration standards and deployment procedures</p><p>Create detailed runbooks, documentation, templates, and operating procedures for internal teams</p><p>Conduct engineering working sessions and train team members on newly established standards and operational processes</p><p>Lead technical discussions, drive deliverables, and serve as the subject matter expert for Intune and Entra ID best practices</p><p><br></p>
