    We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team located in Grandville, Michigan. Our team operates within the machine manufacturing industry where we specialize in building Injection Molding Machines. As an Accounting Manager, your core duties will entail a range of financial and operational accounting tasks, with a focus on maintaining accurate customer records and resolving inquiries.


    Responsibilities


    • Carry out the preparation of financial reports, ensuring they are accurate and timely for month-end and year-end processes.


    • Manage financial statement analysis and variance analysis to ensure financial health and identify potential areas of improvement.


    • Coordinate with banks to maintain healthy relationships, manage lines of credit and letters of credit.


    • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring smooth transactions and timely payments.


    • Handle payroll duties, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of wages.


    • Manage some inventory and purchasing as required, ensuring cost efficiency and availability of necessary resources.


    • Assist in determining benefits, insurance, and 401k plans, ensuring they align with company policies and employee needs.


    • Utilize SYSPRO software for various accounting tasks, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.


    • Conduct Balance Sheet Reconciliation and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial records.


    • Oversee the setup of new customers and manage their credit, ensuring smooth financial transactions and relationships.

    • Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation
    • Experience with Month End Close procedures
    • Understanding of Cost - Standard accounting principles
    • Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Familiarity with SYSPRO accounting software
    • Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
    • Knowledge of General Ledger operations
    • Experience with Payroll management
    • Understanding of Federal Taxes regulations and application
