Job Purpose:
The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from planning to execution. This includes gathering and prioritizing customer and product requirements, aligning with the product vision, and collaborating with teams in engineering, sales, marketing, and support to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy:
- Own product initiatives from ideation to market launch.
- Create and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with business, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Define clear product goals, pricing, and positioning strategies.
- Balance priorities between customer needs, new features, and operational improvements.
- Develop detailed product requirements and prototypes.
- Ensure consistent product delivery, setting priorities for agile development teams.
- Product Execution:
- Lead the entire product development process, from discovery to launch and iteration.
- Prioritize activities based on customer impact and business value.
- Assess product designs and suggest improvements.
- Communicate progress and results to senior management.
- Manage product roadmaps and releases.
- Run beta and pilot programs for early-stage products.
- Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
- Analyze data to identify product gaps and develop new features.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product impact.
- Influencing People:
- Inspire and motivate the product team and stakeholders to support the product vision.
- Gain internal and external buy-in for the product strategy.
- Collaborate with business partners to define technical requirements and dependencies.
- Address and resolve product issues by leading problem-solving sessions.
- Provide insights to stakeholders about the product and market.
