Robert Half is seeking an attorney with recent experience Securities Litigation, Securities Enforcement or White-Collar law to assist our client with an ongoing legal research & development initiative.

Project information:

Start: May 2025
Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
Pay: $45+/hour
Location: Remote
Hours: 5-10 hours weekly (flexible hours)

Responsibilities include:

Our client is seeking a recently practicing Securities Litigation, Securities Enforcement and/or White-Collar attorney with 3+ years of experience to help develop online legal products as a contractor. We are looking for a self-motivated attorney with concise writing skills who can work both collaboratively and independently. This is a part-time, hourly role offering a flexible schedule and remote work. This person will collaborate with the Securities Litigation/Enforcement and White-Collar Content Manager to develop, write and edit “how-to” practical guidance on a variety of securities litigation, securities enforcement, and/or white collar topics and trends, draft, review, and annotate practice notes, forms, and checklists and assist in content development by applying subject matter and practice knowledge.

Requirements:

Law degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in the United States with state bar membership in good standing
Minimum of 3 years recent experience with securities litigation, securities enforcement, and/or white-collar law and investigations
Fundamental understanding of securities litigation, securities enforcement, and/or white-collar laws and trends
Experience drafting documents relating to securities litigation, securities enforcement, and/or white-collar investigations
Excellent writing, legal research, and analysis skills
Ability to complete projects by assigned deadlines
Ability to accept feedback on writing and revise accordingly
Organized and self-motivated
Comfortable working in Microsoft Word (including Track Changes) and conducting online legal research

Project information:<ol><li>Start: May 2025 </li><li>Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension</li><li>Pay: $40/hour </li><li>Location: Remote </li><li>Hours: 40 hours per week, M-F</li></ol> Responsibilities include:Conduct in-depth review of statutes, regulations, case law, insurance department guidance, NAIC models, and secondary materials to ensure currency of published insurance content or creation of new content. Edit text of existing documents or draft new content, including practice notes and articles, state law surveys and trackers, or Q& A documents.
