    As a network administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs). You will be a key member of our IT team, and you will play a vital role in keeping our company's critical systems up and running.

    What you will do:

    ·      Investigate and solve technical problems related to LAN/WAN performance and connectivity.

    ·      Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment, including routers, switches, and network cabling.

    ·      Administer control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam.

    ·      Coordinate and execute upgrades to network software and hardware.

    ·      Administer the operation of services related to all LAN/WAN while following company policies and procedures.

    ·      Define network business requirements and implement effective nationwide network strategies.

    ·      Implement secure network solutions that maximize the sharing of applications, information, and resources across the company.

    ·      Coordinates with multiple vendors/departments to procure network-related hardware, software, and services.

    ·      Investigates and resolves problems, inefficiencies, and performance issues.

    ·      Strong troubleshooting, analytic, and diagnostic skills.

    ·      Understanding of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations.

    ·      Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Products.

    ·      Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Windows.

    ·      Intermediate knowledge of security issues and implications to network solutions.

    ·      Proficiency in network concepts and solutions and implications for security (AD, Topology Mgmt, VLAN’s, Software Defined Networks and micro segmentation (e.g., VMWare NSX), QOS, SD-WAN, MPLS, DNS, Scripting, UTM, Next Generation Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto), IDS/IPS, DMZ, VPN, Wireless Networks 802.11a, 802.11b/g/n, and/or 802.11ac, and ISE).

    ·      Intermediate knowledge and adaptation of emerging technologies and frameworks to reduce costs, effort, and maintenance.

    ·      Intermediate proficiency in the establishing and implementing general IT control processes such as access, backup & recovery, and DR.
