    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager to join our client's finance team. This role will oversee the month-end close process, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage technical accounting matters, and provide expertise in cost accounting. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Month-End Close: Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
    2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Develop and maintain robust reporting processes and templates to ensure clarity and accuracy.
    3. Technical Accounting: Research and implement new accounting standards and updates as needed. Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and policies.
    4. Cost Accounting: Analyze and report on cost structures, variances, and inventory valuations. Partner with operations teams to enhance cost control measures and profitability.
    5. Leadership and Collaboration: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and leadership, to achieve business goals.


    Qualifications:

    • CPA designation required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or technical accounting roles.
