Moving at a slower pace because of it. <br><br>Day-to-day responsibilities: <br>• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications and solutions using Ignition Platform software.<br>• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code for system integrations, automation, and data processing.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize industrial and business systems.<br>• Create and maintain Ignition projects, including visualization, scripting, and database connectivity.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ignition applications, Python scripts, and supporting infrastructure.<br>• Work with SQL databases to query, analyze, and manipulate data for various applications.<br>• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers or team members as needed.<br>• Document development processes, workflows, and system configurations.<br>• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to It, OT, Industrial IoT, and industrial automation.<br><br>Skillsets:<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required.<br>• 2-4 years of professional experience in software development, IT, or industrial automation required.<br>• Hands-on experience with Ignition Platform Or equivalent platforms (design, configuration, scripting, and troubleshooting).<br>• Proficiency in Python programming for automation and system integration.<br>• Strong understanding of SQL databases (querying, optimization, and integration).<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.<br>• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.<br>• Knowledge of scripting languages and frameworks Python, SQL, JavaScript, Kubernetes<br>• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).<br>• Understanding of Agile methodologies or experience working in Agile teams<br>Nice To Have:<br>• Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., OPC, MQTT) and their application in SCADA systems.<br>• Experience with Ignition Perspective or Vision modules.<br>• Familiarity with industrial automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, or IoT devices.
