    Role Overview:

    We are looking for a contract Product Designer to focus on improving the UX of our B2B customer portals. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces. This is a 6-8 month contract position requiring 2 days per week onsite in Atlanta, GA, with a total of 40 hours per week. 


    Responsibilities:

    • User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and pain points.
    • Analyze user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop user personas and user journey maps to inform design decisions.


    • UX Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for B2B customer portal features.
    • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that align with business requirements and user needs.
    • Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the portals.
    • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.


    • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure successful implementation.
    • Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively through presentations and documentation.
    • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.


    • Usability Testing & Iteration: Plan and execute usability tests.
    • Analyze test results and iterate on designs to improve user experience.
    • Document and present findings to stakeholders.


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a focus on B2B applications.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design process and deliverables.
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
    • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. 
    • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience designing complex data driven interfaces. 
    • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA, 2 days a week.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience designing customer portals or enterprise software.
    • Knowledge of front-end development principles.
    • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
