We are seeking a knowledgeable Database Administrator with a wealth of experience in databases, system installation, administration, and SQL database language. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to develop and modify database models, participate in systems analysis, implement system plans, and troubleshoot database performance. With a strong understanding of database principles, the candidate will effectively maintain our database management system and enhance system productivity. This role is a contract to hire, hybrid opportunity and will require 3 days working onsite in office.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop, modify and maintain database models based on logical models, designs, and requirements.

-Participate in system analysis, design, and implementation.

-Develop standards and methodologies for the database management system.

-Monitor and troubleshoot database performance.

-Establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders.

-Program and maintain business logic and consistent development.

-Assess and implement improvements, changes, and/or replacements to existing technologies and/or systems.

-Provide advisory and consultative services to application programmers.

-Install, upgrade, and maintain software and patches for standard database management systems.

-Establish procedures for database security, data backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

-Plan for system capacity, technology succession planning, system upgrades, and migrations.

-4+ years of experience as a SQL DBA

-Proficiency in SQL server (2017 and current) with strong SQL skills and administration skills

-Experience with TFS, Visual Studio, SSIS, Azure

-Skilled in Python and PowerShell

-Sound understanding of operational characteristics of information system environments

-Familiarity with ETL development software

-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Data Reporting Analyst We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in the Real Estate & Property industry. The role is based in Richmond, Virginia, United States. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and maintaining reporting solutions across various business units. You will work closely with business leaders, engineers, and other analysts to enhance legacy reporting and utilize data visualizations to generate valuable business insights.
