We are looking for an experienced Applications Manager to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and data systems, ensuring they align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with various departments to analyze business needs and design technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Manage technology projects from initiation to completion, utilizing methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure the integration and optimization of cloud services, databases, and APIs to meet operational requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate application performance, addressing any issues to maintain system reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications and related processes to ensure knowledge continuity.
• Partner with leadership to provide strategic insights and recommendations for technology-driven initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in application management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects effectively.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in nonprofit organizations or cultural institutions is a strong plus.
