Robert Half's HR Solutions team is hiring for a dynamic client in the Marietta, GA area seeking an HR Manager to join their team! The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions in a manufacturing facility. This is a sole HR role, requiring a self-sufficient professional who can manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and payroll coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR specifically in a manufacturing environment and the ability to implement and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Source, screen, and onboard new hires to support production and operational goals.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conduct investigations, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, terminations, and employee inquiries.
- Payroll Coordination: Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related tasks.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance evaluation processes, provide coaching to managers, and drive employee development initiatives.
- Training & Development: Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and safety compliance.
- HR Policy Development: Establish and maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Workplace Safety: Partner with management to uphold a safe working environment and maintain OSHA compliance.
- HR Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR metrics, and provide reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Minimum 5+ years of HR management experience, with at least 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Sole HR Experience: Must have experience independently managing HR functions without an internal HR team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- HRIS Knowledge: Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
- Strong Knowledge of Employment Laws: Proven ability to interpret and apply HR and safety regulations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities to interact with employees at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
• Must possess proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Demonstrated experience with ADP Workforce Now is essential
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is a requirement
• Should have hands-on experience with Ceridian
• Must have expertise in HCM (Human Capital Management)
• Experience with Benefit Functions is necessary
• Strong communication skills are a must
• Compliance knowledge and experience is required
• Must have a solid background in Employee Relations
• Should be well-versed in Hiring Processes
