We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager on behalf of our industrial services client based in the Riverview area of Tampa, FL. The HR Manager will be an integral part of operations, focusing on developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), improving processes, and assisting with various HR-related tasks spanning the entirety of the HR lifecycle. This role offers a short-term contract opportunity with the potential for permanent hire!
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the HR department
• Assist the HR Generalist and HR Administrator in their daily tasks
• Involvement in hiring and termination processes as per the industry norms
• Provide support during the open enrollment period for benefits
• Utilize Paylocity for payroll, application, onboarding, and open enrollment processes
• Improve existing HR processes and recommend new strategies for efficiency
• Assist in managing employee relations and ensure compliance with HR policies
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Manage the documentation of highly transactional operations within the department
• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager for a minimum of 5 years
• Demonstrable expertise in managing Benefit Functions within an organization
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of Compliance laws and regulations pertaining to HR
• Solid experience in managing Employee Relations and conflict resolution
• Proficiency in Hiring Processes, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding
• Familiarity with Paylocity software for HR tasks would be a plus
• Experience in Process Improvement within HR operations
• Knowledge of Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in an HR context
