We are in search of an Event Coordinator to join our team in the Database Development industry. Based in New York, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Event Coordinator, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of event planning, from coordinating with vendors to ensuring the success of the event.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the objectives
• Manage relationships with vendors, caterers, and other event services
• Utilize CRM tools to keep track of event details and participant information
• Oversee budgeting processes for each event, ensuring all expenses are within the allotted budget
• Use ADP Financial Services for financial planning and management of events
• Employ the use of the Chef tool for managing and automating platforms
• Generate reports using Crystal Reports to provide insights and analytics about each event
• Utilize 'About Time' tool for efficient time management and scheduling
• Oversee calendar management, ensuring all events are scheduled and no overlaps occur
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, keeping them informed of event details, changes, and updates.
• Proven experience in the Database Development industry is essential.
• Must hold the job title of Event Coordinator or similar.
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with BeOS operating system is beneficial.
• Experience with Chef configuration management tool is desirable.
• Should have a strong understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Must be proficient in using Crystal Reports for business reporting.
• Knowledge of About Time project management software is advantageous.
• Experience with budget processes and financial management is essential.
• Must have excellent calendar management skills.
• Experience in catering or related fields is beneficial.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
