We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an IT Technician III in Charleston, South Carolina. The primary function of this role is to provide advanced technical support and strategic IT guidance, with a strong focus on issue resolution, automation, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, leadership, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and rectify intricate network, security, and cloud-related complications.
• Offer strategic IT insights to align with the overall business objectives.
• Develop and execute efficient automation solutions using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Design, deploy, and manage robust solutions in cloud-based platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Implement and maintain a strong security posture to safeguard client data, utilizing tools like Firewall and Azure Active Directory.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level technicians, promoting their detail oriented growth.
• Create and sustain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring the accuracy of information.
• Utilize expertise in routing, switching, VPNs, and SD-WANs for advanced network issue resolution.
• Manage and execute IT projects efficiently, demonstrating strong project management skills.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat mitigation strategies.
• Candidate must possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Proficiency with VMware is required for virtualization management.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is necessary for cloud computing services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure is required for managing applications and services.
• Knowledge of Network Switches is needed for managing communication between devices.
• Comptia Network+ certification is necessary to demonstrate competence in managing and troubleshooting networks.
• Experience with Hyper-V is required for virtual machine management.
• Proficiency in Azure Active Directory is necessary for identity and access management.
• Knowledge of Firewall is essential for managing network security.
• Experience with Router Switches is necessary for directing data in a network.
