We are looking to onboard a Contracts Manager with our client - major, specialized business news and information, focused primarily on the legal industry - based in New York, NY, on a part-time (15-20 hours per week) basis, with the flexibility to work fully remotely. The role primarily involves managing contracts and working closely with the legal team and various stakeholders to revise and T& C's, as well as ensure proper registration and compliance in various states. Responsibilities:
• Manage the contracts database, ensuring all contracts are accurately entered and updated.
• Review, redline, and coordinate with outside counsel on significant changes to contract terms.
• Act as a liaison between the legal team and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
• Provide corporate paralegal support, assisting in legal matters and projects.
• Support General Counsel-level contacts directly, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Monitor and track changes in agreements, ensuring all modifications are accurately recorded and communicated.
• Handle contracts such as Commercial Contracts, Customer Contracts, Confidentiality Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and Commercial Agreements.
• Provide support in resolving customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Contracts Manager role or similar
• Law Degree / Juris Doctorate
• Proficiency in managing Commercial Contracts
• Experience with handling Customer Contracts
• Strong understanding and experience with Confidentiality Agreements
• Proficient in Consulting Agreements
• Demonstrated expertise in Commercial Agreements
• Ability to interpret and negotiate complex contract terms
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field preferred
