We are in search of a Call Center Specialist to join our team in the Government sector, based in Oakland, California. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be tasked with a variety of clerical and data entry duties, as well as front desk reception tasks. This is a 60 day contract employment opportunity.
100% onsite in downtown Oakland, CA. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9AM to 6PM.
Responsibilities:
• Handle front desk reception duties including mail delivery and retrieval
• Execute a high volume of data entry tasks
• Organize and fulfil copy and print requests
• Assist with food order arrangements
• Provide clerical support as needed
• Manage office recovery and clean-up post meetings.
• Capability to Provide Clerical Support to other team members is crucial. The applicant should display a collaborative attitude, assisting colleagues with their clerical tasks as needed.
• Proficiency in data entry, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed- Experience with Microsoft Excel is required
• Familiarity with computer data entry systems and software
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with minimal supervision
• Experience in performing detail-oriented duties
• Ability to provide clerical support to various departments as needed
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle high volume calls and resolve customer issues effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior call center experience in a government setting is a plus
