We are offering an exciting opportunity for a newly-licensed attorney to join our client's team located in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you will be working directly with the named partner, handling a variety of tasks including drafting legal documents, writing motions for summary judgment, and preparing for arguments in both state and federal courts . You'll be involved in business law, real estate and employment law, managing complex business litigation while learning from a highly-reputable attorney working as their second-hand.
Responsibilities:
• Drafting and preparing legal documents for a variety of business and employment law cases
• Writing motions for summary judgment to expedite court proceedings
• Handling complex business litigation matters with high attention to detail
• Engaging in both state and federal litigation, demonstrating a strong understanding of the respective legal frameworks
• Utilizing legal software such as Clio and Dropbox for efficient document management and case tracking
• Applying excellent drafting skills to produce high-quality lawsuits and other legal writings
• Leveraging legal knowledge and terminology to ensure clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues
• Maintaining a valid Texas license and adhering to all ethical and standards of the legal profession
• If licensed in federal court, applying this expertise to enhance the team's federal litigation capabilities
• Managing legal tasks related to both employee and employer side of employment la
• Active license and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• Must possess broad Legal Knowledge to provide informed advice to clients.
• Familiar with Federal Court procedures and Federal Law to represent clients effectively.
• Should have experience in preparing and reviewing Litigation Documents.
• Must possess strong Legal Writing skills to draft clear and effective legal documents.
