<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Receptionist to join our team in Salinas, CA. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in managing inbound calls and directing inquiries efficiently while providing exceptional service to the public. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers opportunities for growth, including learning additional administrative skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Handle 20-50 incoming calls daily, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to all inquiries.</p><p>• Transfer calls to appropriate departments or staff members, maintaining accuracy and a high standard of conduct.</p><p>• Interact with the public and direct them to the correct funeral director or department.</p><p>• Maintain a strong focus on providing empathetic support to callers, understanding their needs and concerns.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to enhance administrative processes and improve service delivery.</p><p>• Follow office protocols, including a dress code in black and white attire.</p><p>• Support additional administrative tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.</p><p>• Uphold a compassionate approach to customer service, ensuring callers feel heard and supported.</p><p>• Learn and adapt to new tasks, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.</p><p>• Contribute to a positive office environment by practicing teamwork and effective communication.</p>
